The PeeWee EcoDome is a sturdy, extra large, closed litter tray ideal for large cat breeds such as the Maine Coon and Ragdolls. Perfect for cats who value their privacy when using the toilet and cats that pee standing. It features a metal-look handle and clips. The carbon filter at the top absorbs odours.
When the cat urinates onto PeeWee wood pellets in a PeeWee litter tray, 90% of the urine will disappear through the holes of the top tray into the bottom tray. The rest of the urine is absorbed and the compressed wood shavings disintegrate.
As the cat scratches, the loose wood shavings then fall through the holes of the top tray into the bottom tray. As a result, the remaining wood pellets in the top tray stay clean and dry, as do the cat’s paws and your home. All you need to dispose of is the soiled wood shavings in the bottom tray. If faeces are removed regularly using the special PeeWee scoop, you will be left with nothing but the sweet smell of pine.
With the removable and collapsible hood, cleaning is made easy. PeeWee system makes cleaning the litter tray environmentally friendly and, more importantly, puts an end to those unpleasant, pollutant and sometimes even harmful clouds of dust.
For litter choice
For best results, use the PeeWee EcoDome with PeeWee Wood Pellets (sold separately). The wood pellets are made from wood shavings of Swedish spruce. These wood pellets are 100% biodegradable. The wood shavings absorb plenty of moisture and give a fresh pine scent. No leaves or bark are added to these granules during the production process.
PeeWee Wood Pellets are formulated so that they are perfect to use in combination with PeeWee Litter Trays. And because you only need a 2cm layer, a 14 litre bag of wood pellets can last around 4 months!
For cleaning
Do not use abrasive sponges to clean the bottom tray, as they cause small scratches which are a hotbed for bacteria.
Choose sustainable, choose PeeWee.
- Put a handful of cat litter into the bottom tray.
- Place the upper tray onto the bottom tray and fill with a layer of pellets approximately 2cm deep.
- Remove faeces daily.
- Empty the bottom tray when it is almost full (approximately once a week). The more wood shavings in the tray, the more the odours can be absorbed.
